Sigtrggring Vikings of Ontario is providing a living history experience that can be tailored to your event. Whether you are looking for an authentic early-medieval camp with craft displays, a fight show involving real steel and sportsmanship, a playful twist on history with kiddie entertainment, or that extra flair at your wedding - we will bring early-medieval European history alive and to your event in Southern Ontario!
Please note that we do not provide child care and children need to be supervised by their responsible adult at all times.
Medieval faires
We set up an early-medieval camp with tents, weapons racks, tables and benches inviting visitors to dwell and dive into games, conversations or historical craft displays. Our group members spin, nalbind, sew, carve and create items from early-medieval life using historical tools and materials. Some will offer their products for sale on the spot.
The weapons rack invites big and small visitors to gear up like a mighty Viking and have their picture taken. Our Eastern Style trained fighters can deliver a fight show including kiddie vike, our popular fight show finale where all kids in the crowd get to fight our Vikings.
Parades
Need some distinguished medieval flair at your parade? Our well-dressed Vikings will put their swords and shields and chants to good use while sitting on or marching behind your float. Our parade displays vary based on the time of the year by involving garb and items typical for the season we’re in.
Cultural celebrations
If you are celebrating a national day, a traditional holiday or another occasion that ties into early-medival Northern European history and are looking for some unconventional entertainment for adults and kids alike, look no further! Whether indoors or outdoors, we can tailor the experience to suit your occasion. We have experience performing combat displays in confined spaces, entertaining little ones with Viking themed crafts, and delving into conversations about history with your event attendees.

Weddings
Yes, we do weddings! Well, we don’t have an officiant, but from creating a special entrance for the newlyweds to enter or exit the ceremony to photo shoots with guests and entertainment for adults and kids - we love making your special day extra special!
