Sigtryggring is the largest and most active Viking age reenactment group in Ontario
Founded on August 26th, 2018, we have grown quickly without sacrificing the quality of our membership. We specialize in portraying the early-medieval Scandinavia along with Saxon, Rus, and Norman culture.
Our Mission
We strive to accurately portray the history of the Viking Age (800 to 1050 CE) to the public through recreations of craft, cuisine, clothing, culture and combat.
Our Values
We are an enthusiastically inclusive club. We value all people. Our focus is on history, and although we are a non-political organization, we actively exclude hate based ideologies.
We support and integrate all adaptive and assistive aids whether or not there is historical reference to them.
